At the American Gothic House Center in Eldon, Iowa, your group can pose for a photograph in front of the building that served as the inspiration for the 1930 painting by artist and Iowan, Grant Wood, called American Gothic. Visit the museum's exhibit gallery, watch educational films on Wood's legacy in the media room, browse the gift shop, and enjoy the prairie gardens. Tours of the house interior are only on select dates, but the house can be viewed daily from dawn to dusk.
